Built to Prepare 7th & 8th Graders for High School Basketball This academy is designed specifically to bridge the gap between middle school and high school basketball. Our mission is to develop complete players — physically, mentally, and fundamentally — so they’re confident and prepared for the next level. What We Focus On: ~Skill Development Ball handling, shooting, footwork, passing, finishing, and defense Emphasis on consistency, mechanics, and game-speed execution ~Game IQ & Situational Training Teaching how to think the game through real-game actions Reads off the dribble, help-defense decisions, spacing, and tempo control ~Strength & Conditioning (Age-Appropriate) Developing athleticism, coordination, and injury prevention habits Introducing proper warm-up, cool-down, and recovery techniques ~Film Study & Feedback Breaking down clips to teach awareness and smart decision-making Learning how to self-correct and grow as a player ~High School Expectations What coaches look for at tryouts and during the season Leadership, communication, and off-court habits that matter This is for serious 7th and 8th graders who are committed to making their high school teams — and contributing from day one. Cancellation Policy
24+ hours’ notice: If your athlete can’t attend, email/text us at least 24 hours before the session: 714.574.9690 or HugoEliteBasketball@gmail.com. No-shows/late cancels: No refunds or credits for no-shows or late cancellations of start time. Rollover credit (limited): With 24+ hours’ notice and a valid reason (sickness, injury, or family emergency), we may issue a one-time rollover credit to the same program within 30 days, subject to availability. How to notify: Include athlete name, session, date/time, and reason. Company cancellations: If we cancel (facility/coach/holiday), you’ll receive a make-up or credit. Notes: Credits aren’t refunds, and they’re non-transferable. ~Media Consent - You grant the Company a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to photograph/film/record the athlete during sessions and to use/publish that media for our website, social channels, and promotional purposes without compensation. You may opt out of future uses by emailing us (we can’t retract materials already published).
